Our automotive component manufacturing and refurbishment client is in search of a qualified Automotive Machinist (Trainer)

Automotive Machinist contract trainer. The person will train for about 3 – 4 months after every 7 months for a 3 year apprenticeship programme.

Main requirements are as follows:

The ideal applicant will possess the following:-

Automotive Machinist Trade Test Certificate – Tested by an accredited institution.
Minimum of 3-5 years working experience as an Automotive Machinist.
Assessment qualification

Perform various machinist activities at the automotive section in the factory.
Re-bore, Line-bore, Crankshaft grinding, Recondition of Cylinder Heads and Connecting Rods.
Participate in the implementation of the Production Management Systems in the
( ISO 9001 )
Complete all job related admin, i.e. Control Sheets, Job cards, Stores Requisitions, Quality Control Sheets etc.

Good knowledge of tools. Knowledge of safety standards · Knowledge of the OHS Act Knowledge of ISO9001 · Knowledge of an industrial workshop environment	Good communication and interpersonal skills · Time management skills · Diagnostic and Fault finding skills · Ability to work on horizontal boring mill, lathe and milling machine *Also email cv’s to mervyn@bonafidehc.co.za*	Have good work ethics.
