Commercial New Vehicle Sales Manager
Our Commercial vehicle dealer client based in Ekurhuleni currently has a vacancy for a New Vehicle Sales Manager.
Reporting to the Dealer Principal the primary purpose of the position is to maximise sales opportunities to achieve budget objectives by continually examining weekly/monthly accounts, operating controls and composite figures that will enable necessary improvements and corrective actions to achieve results.
Commercial vehicle experience will be an advantage.
Specific Role Responsibilities
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
• Ability to formulate and implement sales strategy with involvement from Dealer Principal
• Ability to maximize sales and profitability ensuring sales forecasts are met
• Must be able to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention
• Ability to ensure optimum stock levels at all times
• Able to ensure effective cost control and budget within the department
• Excellent management of staff – management of performance, discipline
• Up-to-date knowledge of business in the commercial sphere
• Product knowledge essential
• Ability to motivate and retain talented staff
• Ability to assist Dealer Principal with financial planning
Qualifications and Experience QUALIFICATIONS
• Matric
• Fully computer literate (Microsoft package)
• DMS experience (Drive)
• Relevant post matric qualification will be an advantage
EXPERIENCE
Experience in the capacity of a Senior Sales Executive or Sales Manager within the vehicle industry is required.
