The following vacancy exists at Tshwane/ Mpumalanga Business Unit in our Transport clients
Operations Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal applicant will possess the following: –
- Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent academic qualification.
- Tertiary qualification in Road Transport Management or equivalent.
- Computer literacy (MS Office).
- At least 5 years’ experience in supervising the operations of a large transport company.
- Experience in handling IR issues.
JOB OUTPUTS
- Manage and control all traffic, departmental and operational functions.
- Monitor service through auditing of operations of a large transport company.
- Inter-departmental co-ordination and communication.
- Market services through liaising with stake holders and other official bodies.
- Analyze traffic operational statistics on a daily basis.
- Ensure correct implementation of agreed changes to operation.
- Ensure continuous market research.
- Monitor performance of budget (trends interpretation).
- Control material resources efficiently.
- Monitor subordinates job performance.
WORKING CONDITIONS
- The jobs involve work for six (6) days a week and may require the incumbent to work
during public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays. - The incumbent may be required to work long irregular hours as dictated by the Traffic
Operations demand. - The job also involves long distance traveling to the operational areas.
