The following vacancy exists at Tshwane/ Mpumalanga Business Unit in our Transport clients
Operations Department.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
The ideal applicant will possess the following: –

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent academic qualification.
  • Tertiary qualification in Road Transport Management or equivalent.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office).
  • At least 5 years’ experience in supervising the operations of a large transport company.
  • Experience in handling IR issues.

JOB OUTPUTS

  • Manage and control all traffic, departmental and operational functions.
  • Monitor service through auditing of operations of a large transport company.
  • Inter-departmental co-ordination and communication.
  • Market services through liaising with stake holders and other official bodies.
  • Analyze traffic operational statistics on a daily basis.
  • Ensure correct implementation of agreed changes to operation.
  • Ensure continuous market research.
  • Monitor performance of budget (trends interpretation).
  • Control material resources efficiently.
  • Monitor subordinates job performance.

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • The jobs involve work for six (6) days a week and may require the incumbent to work
    during public holidays, Saturdays and Sundays.
  • The incumbent may be required to work long irregular hours as dictated by the Traffic
    Operations demand.
  • The job also involves long distance traveling to the operational areas.
