Our well known Commercial Vehicles dealership client in Rustenburg currently holds a vacancy for a Heavy-Duty Driver reporting to Service Manager. This position will be suitable for an individual who will execute all driving duties and to assist with any other reasonable duties as required.

Specific Role Responsibilities:

• Check delivery vehicles for damage, defects, missing parts, spare wheel and tools and report to the Manager
• Check vehicle for damages and general road worthy conditions
• Movement of vehicles in the workshop & washbay
• Report all accidents and traffic offences to the Sales Manager immediately
• Assist customers when on showroom floor
• Do all other reasonable duties required by department
• Work overtime when required

Job Description:

• Collect all vehicles from other branches, customers, outside suppliers
• Deliver vehicles to outside suppliers, other branches, customers and any other destination required
• Maintain customer relations at a level enhancing the reputation of the dealership
• Ensure that clerical tasks are carried out in accordance with Company policies
• Ensures that effective administration supports the dealership’s sales efforts

Position Overview Qualifications and Experience:

• Must have excellent verbal communication skill
• Must have a valid code 14 driver’s license
• Must be in a possession of valid PDP
• Clear criminal record

• A minimum of Grade 12
• Three years’ experience in a similar position
