Our commercial dealer client currently holds a vacancy for an experienced Area Sales Manager based in Centurion.

Key performance areas:
• Plan, organize and monitor the sales progress within the framework of the Company’s Head Office Retail Sales Management:

• Prepare proposals and determine the sales strategy in co-ordination with the Head of Retail Sales Management

• Prepare the UPL with the Head of Retail Sales Management, discuss sales targets within the framework of the UPL/RVP

• Compare planned and actual sales targets, results of the sales staff and prepare action plans in the event of any deviations from the original plan

• Identify areas of concern in sales and compile workable action plans

• Manage and support sales staff and affiliated dealers (supervise quality of customer support)

• Monitor and improve sales staff performance based on regular performance review sessions and per agreed KPAs

• Support sales staff with customer acquisition

Minimum qualification and experience / skills required:

• Minimum qualifications – Matric / Grade 12 and/or equivalent qualification.

• Sales Management skills with a minimum of 2 years managerial experience

• Good communication (oral and written) and interpersonal relations skills

• Must be computer literate.
